MoneyRoute is an independent UK comparison site. We started it because the price you see advertised is rarely the price you pay.
Why we exist
Most broadband contracts go up every spring. Many charge setup fees on top of the monthly price. Some start with free months, and some fix the price but jump sharply when the contract ends. The headline monthly price hides all of that.
Comparison sites usually rank by that headline, or by the deals that pay them most. We think you should see what a contract will cost you from the first bill to the last, and compare deals on that.
What we promise
Rank by real cost
Every deal is ranked by its average monthly cost over the whole contract, with setup fees and price rises included. Never by commission.
Show every route
If a deal is cheaper through a cashback site or another comparison site, we tell you, even when we earn nothing from it.
Include the independents
Independent full fibre networks are often faster and cheaper, and many comparison sites leave them out. We list them alongside the big names.
Date every price
Each deal shows when we last checked it. If a price is a "from" price that varies by address, we say so.
What we compare
We're starting with home broadband: national providers and independent full fibre networks. SIM-only mobile and energy are next, using the same approach.
How we're funded
MoneyRoute is free to use. Some providers pay us a commission when you buy through our links, and that's how we keep the site running. Commission never changes the order deals appear in. Read how we make money and how we rank deals.
